The Ai & The Fly 2.24

Inspired by ancestral, indigenous art practices, recycling materials and the idea of giving new life to forgotten objects, The Ai & The Fly's designs are 100% handmade and one of a kind.

The Ai & The Fly began creating wallets and bags from pre-loved clothing and fabrics, but whilst travelling through South America and learning about local ancestral art practices, it's focus shifted to macrame, a jewellery making technique using string to tie many small knots, giving a woven effect. Each piece is made from scratch using nothing but string and the stone or found object (and in some cases a piece of leather or bead).

The Ai & The Fly's macrame necklaces feature a sterling silver clasp and a mix of gemstones and ethically sourced found stones / shells / objects from Chile and Australia. Most pieces are androgynous and can be worn by men or women. Whether you're looking for tribal, boho, beach or aztec, The Ai & The Fly has a necklace to suit.
