The Rheingold Cellar Restaurant is a family run restaurant tucked away under a heritage listed building. Sven, son of Erik Hemmann, the founder of Rheingold is now continuing the legacy his dad left in his name. The very popular Geelong restaurant likes to take its people away from Geelong into a world where everything seems too good to be true. At the Rheingold we boast our recipes to be very hearty and cooked from seasonal garden vegetables and raw ingredients. We welcome you to a very warm homemade bread and butter, accompanied by 3 delicious soups, potato, vegetable and sauerkraut. This is just a warming to the succulent entire pig on the spit, slow cooked on a rotisserie for 5 1/2 hours. If this doesn't quite tickle the taste buds, perhaps the homemade apple strudel be the icing on the cake!
The night includes live entertainment, many German schnapps, a variety of German beers and a crowd favourite the $40 all you can drink package which must be accompanied by the Food and finishes at 11:00pm!
