The focus of this therapy is to help you to reach your wellbeing

During challenging times, such as Grief through deaf or separation, Parenting issues, Relationship difficulties and transitional life changes you might feel a lack of wellbeing.
Counselling is a professional who can support and guide you during difficult times.

The key for happiness is WELLBEING. We create the sense of belonging through our families, our community and our experiences, and the way we respond to it will be directly related to our wellbeing.
Since we were born the sense of wellbeing is one of the more important outcomes for us as human beings.
It’s the way we see and feel about what is happening around and with us that will create a sense of wellbeing, and it will determine who we are.

What is Well-being?
When I meet someone I consider the following:
• Enjoyment – having fun, taking pleasure in interacting with others and in activities. The person looks happy, smiles or laughs easily, engages spontaneously in chatting or even singing.
• Relaxing & inner peace – The person gives a relaxed impression. He/she does not feel threatened in any way. Their facial expression is open, there is no sign of tension or restlessness, and their muscles are relaxed.
• Vitality - This can often be read from people’s faces: the look is lively and expressive. They radiate. Their posture also gives a lot away: not shrunken or with hanging shoulders but upright, not afraid to take the space they are entitled to.
• Openness – children have an open attitude towards the world around, but some times people lose it along the way because of the way they responded to their experiences. Being “open” means you are ready to experience new thoughts and concepts, and are more approachable to others. You are happy with the attention you receive: a hug, a compliment, a word of comfort, encouragement or help.
• Self confidence – can occur when you feel strong. Self-assurance, self-confidence, a sense of self-value makes you less anxious or stressed. This can be noticed in a posture expressing a certain pride, literally feeling “big”. Positive self-image is the foundation of resilience. You then do not allow others to walk all over you, you are assertive.
• Being in touch with oneself – when you do not suppress feelings but remain in touch with your emotions, it is enjoyable and you will also recover more easily from difficult experiences.

A low level of wellbeing signals that you might not succeed in fulfilling your basic needs.
