Literary Locations is dedicated to enhancing your reading and travel experiences by bringing together great Tasmanian places and great literature of all kinds.
Have you ever been absorbed in a good book that described a particular, real life location and found yourself wondering what it would be like to go there?
When the website is live, you will find a selection of writing to choose from, both fiction and nonfiction. Select a book or article by clicking on the link and you will see an extract about Tasmanian locations mentioned in it, either through the eyes of a character or the author. (Don’t worry, there will be no spoilers!)
Literary Locations is also packed with useful information to help you plan your trip, including how to get there, accommodation and places of interest and history. You can also find out what is going on in and around your chosen location, so you can pick the best time to go.
