About Ignite:

Ignite Youth is for everyone in grades 6-8 or grades 9-12. Our program desires to create a welcoming and engaging environment that will challenge and excite our young people! Our passion is to see young people welcomed into a place where they can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and witness, through our leaders, the benefits of living in a relationship with Him. Don't think this means we are only for Christians, all are welcome at Ignite Youth.

When, Where and How Much?

Ignite Youth meets at Devonport Church of Christ on Friday nights during school terms. The program normally runs from 6:30pm till 8:30pm and costs $3. Every second week the senior program (grade 9-12) meet for Crowded Lounge - details below. Check back here or like our Facebook page (@IgniteYouthDev) for updates if you aren't sure as to what is going on!

What about Crowded Lounge for the Grade 9-12's?

Crowded Lounge is something that happens fortnightly within the term for the grade 9-12's. These nights are a little bit more laid back and provide an opportunity to build relationships with the young people and discuss topics about life and faith. These nights are also held in the homes of members of Devonport Church of Christ, for more information about the location each time please contact Iain Anderson (yowie@devonportcoc.com.au), Brendan Graetz (brendan@devonportcoc.com.au) or Sarah Hingston (sarah@devonportcoc.com.au).

Do I need to register?

Your young person can just rock up on Friday night. However all young people must be signed in and out by an adult. We also need an information consent form (links below!) This can be done on the night!
