Bikram yoga is a dynamic form of hatha yoga. It is a set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, performed in an environment heated to 38-40 degrees celsius. It is a detoxifying and healing style of yoga, suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Bikram Yoga Tasmania offers you the best in facilities, qualified teachers as well as a thriving yoga community right in the heart of Hobart's CBD.

We also offer Yin Yoga, which is performed in an UN-HEATED room. Yin yoga stimulates fascia (connective tissue) in the body and uses blankets and bolsters to support your body during poses. Yin yoga is mostly seated poses and the poses are held between 3-5 minutes.

Our Pregnancy Yoga Tasmania classes are also held in a NON-HEATED room and are suitable for women during all stages of pregnancy. These classes focus on staying fit and healthy during pregnancy, and include breathing techniques and sound practices. We hope through these classes that women can feel empowered to have positive birthing experiences and can use their yoga to have a healthy pregnancy, birth and baby.

From 1st of September, 2014 we will also be offering natural and holistic therapies through Heart Life Natural Therapy. Bikram Yoga Tasmania is a hub of health and wellbeing and offers executive and life coaching, massage therapies, facials, skin assessments, eyebrow shaping and more.

Finally, we also provide childminding Monday - Friday during our 9:30am classes. Our carers are qualified with plenty of experience and will care for your children in a quality setting. Cost for care is $5 per child and bookings are required.
