This Fan page promotes the Abbey Medieval Festival, an annual Medieval Tournament and its associated events, held in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia each July. This page acknowledges all of the people who love our event. It is about posting fun content that will engage the fans of this page, thereby growing the reach of our brand and helping to share newsworthy information on Medieval topics, and information on how our fans can take part in the experience that is the Abbey Medieval Festival.

This event is a fundraiser for the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology, and as such, the Festival experience will be an immersion into Medieval Culture, the like of which you don’t see presented to the world by Hollywood!

The Abbey Medieval Festival Facebook Page aims to inform, entertain and expose the Abbey brand to a wide and varied audience, from seasoned historians to mainstream audiences with a budding interest in Medieval culture. Thus, the Abbey Medieval Festival Facebook Page offers a mix of educational and “broad appeal” content to encourage greater interest in history and attendance at the Festival. There has never been more interest in Medieval culture; this Page aims to reach a broader audience than ever before.
